Rozowa Wieza (Pink Tower) is a small publisher from Poland, that designs, produces and sells educational cards for children developed according to the Montessori method. The name – Pink Tower comes from the iconic teaching aid often called the ‘symbol of Montessori’. We have started the brand in 2017 with my high school friend Anita – a psychotherapist and a mother of two, who is passionate about the Montessori method. Since the start, I have been developing products, packaging, visual identity and an online shop.

The “three-part cards” come in a variety of topics related to nature and consist of a picture, a label of said picture, and a labelled picture. One set presents a group of objects (in our case mostly animals) or stages of the life cycle of one particular animal or plant.
According to the Montessori method, the objects presented on the cards are shown on a clear, white background to avoid unnecessary distractions and are accurate reflections of reality . Therefore I created realistic vector illustrations of various elements including insects, amphibians and their life cycles, as well as human organs.
